Orlaith Duggan raced through early in the second half for the winner’s second goal, which had Clare in the driving seat and well on the way to the semi-final, long before the final whistle sounded.

Scorers for Clare were Nikki Kaiser (0-4), Laura McMahon (0-3), Orlaith Duggan and Ellen Horgan (1-0) each;  Chloe Morey (0-2), Kate Lynch and Caitriona Hennessy (0-1) each.
