Clare Champion Print Subscription

Clare minor footballers fresh from a 4-18 to 0-4 win over Waterford in the opening round of the Munster minor football round robin series travel for a round 2 encounter with Limerick in Rathkeale this Thursday evening with a 7pm throw in.

In the opening round Tipperary who face Clare in round 3 accounted for Limerick on a 1-15 to 1-8 score line next week at a Clare venue named as St Joseph’s Miltown Malbay but suggestions are that it may be Wolfe Tones, Shannon once more.

The four sides, Clare, Limerick, Tipperary, and Waterford play a round robin with the winner playing the loser of a Cork v Kerry side in the semi-final.

The winner of the Cork v Kerry tie plays the winner in the Munster minor final on the 1st June.
