Mulkerrin Brothers come to Clare

The Mulkerrin Brothers will perform in Glór this Sunday.

THE Mulkerrin Brothers, winners of the first ever RTÉ All-Ireland Talent Show, are in the middle of their very first Irish tour.

The three brothers, Padraig, Eamonn and Seán, from Inis Mór, Aran Islands performed a combination of traditional music and dance to claim the title last year. A major feature of their performance that won the hearts of the nation was Seán’s sean-nós dancing.
Since winning the show, the boys have performed at various festivals around the country including a sell-out debut show in Glór and have been working in studio laying some tracks down for their very first record. With no signs of slowing down, there is a documentary being filmed about them due for broadcast on Christmas Day.
Fifteen-year old Pádraig, Éamon (12) and Seán (10) have been singing and playing since they were very young, starting with tin whistle in school and then advancing to other instruments including fiddle, accordion and banjo.
The Mulkerrin Brothers will take to the stage at Glór this Sunday at 8pm and booking is advisable.
