Business books 30 new jobs in Ennis

A new business soon to open its doors in Ennis, has the potential to create up to 10 jobs in its first year and up to 30 in its second year at its base of operations in the Clonroadmore Business Park.
CRS Bookings, a company aimed at hoteliers in Ireland and the UK, will offer a one-stop solution to total online revenue generation and management for the hotel industry.
It is set up by Clonlara man, Michael O’Dwyer with managing director Shane Mansell who is experienced in the hospitality industry in the US and Eugene Harris as a non-executive director, who has also held a long career in the hotel industry in the US.
The business is based at Fergus House in the Clonroadmore Business Park and claims it is uniquely positioned to offer a booking engine, Global Distribution Service (GDS), and Alternate Distributing System (ADS) channels consolidated into one easy to use web-based system. Through the service they aim to take away the necessity for hoteliers to sign into multiple systems to accomplish these tasks. They will offer hotels direct 24 hour access to a dynamic own label booking engine, a direct link to over 600,000 travel agents and to over 1,700 third party websites including expedia.com.
It is also has capabilities to offer a live two-way interface to hotel PMS systems.
Michael, who is a qualified hotel manger having graduated from Shannon’s Institute of Hotel Management, says he is very excited about the new venture and is confident it will take off in Clare.
