It got so dark that when it came to the game of 45s that those who were in attendance funnelled onto the field to get as close as possible to the action as it reached its climax that was epic proportions.
It was out of necessity, because if they stayed in the stand of flanked the other parts of the field, they wouldn’t have been able to see a thing.
