Both of North Clare’s most popular attractions have been awarded the Great Place to Work Certification for 2022. The certification is awarded based on the results of a survey completed recently by the staff at both organisations. Great Place to Work® provides independent company assessments based entirely on employees’ feedback about their workplace experience. The Cliffs of Moher Experience has received the certification for the second year running and improved its overall score from last year. Some of the highlights from the survey included 98% of staff believing the Cliffs is committed to diversity and inclusion. THE team from Aillwee Burren Experience had cause for celebration at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Dublin Airport which hosted the 2022 Irish Hospitality Awards recently. They scooped not one but two awards on the night as Orlagh Redmond, Dave Merrins and Sam O’Connor ably represented Aillwee. They proudly returned home to The Burren as overall Winners of the Family Venue of the Year award and Highly Commended in the Outdoor Venue of the Year category. Read More »Landmark Clare attraction to reopen after €1m upgrade
ONE of Clare’s most famous tourist attractions is to reopen this Friday following a €1 million upgrade and rebrand. The Aillwee Burren Experience, formerly known as Aillwee Cave and Birds of Prey Centre, will welcome back visitors on April 15, following extensive renovation works. The rebrand has sought to refine the facility’s unique offering, which as well as the famous caves and well-known bird attraction, also includes a farm shop selling its own award-winning cheese.
