Five changes on hurling team for clash with Tipperary

There are five changes in personnell and a number of positional changes to the Clare team for this weeks clash with Tipperary from that which lost to Cork in Pairc Ui Rinn two weeks ago.

David McInerney, Tony Kelly, Conor McGrath, Paul Flanagan and Shane Golden come into the starting line up in place of Domhnaill O’Donovan, Jack Browne, Conor Cleary, David Reidy and Bobby Duggan.

The positional switches see Brendan Bugler revert to wing back and Pat Donnellan revert to midfield after playing the opening two games further afield

McInerney and Kelly return after injury while McGrath, a second half substitute in both of Clare’s openin games, will have his first start of the season.

Its a must win game for Clare if they are to have a chance of avoiding being involved in the relegation play offs.
