Peter Keane is officially the new Clare Senior Football Manager after being ratified at Tuesday’s November County Board meeting in the newly refurbished Clare headquarters in Clareabbey.
Having been put forward as the recommended candidate following the interview process a fortnight ago, the former Kerry manager who has familial links to Ballynacally was unanimously appointed by the club delegates.
“Peter has four or five of his backroom team in situ now and we’re working on a few others like physio and medical support.”
Outlined Clare GAA Chairman Kieran Keating in nominating the Cahersiveen native who led the Kingdom to a three-in-a-row of Munster and All-Ireland Minor Football titles between 2016-18 before adding a Munster Senior crown to that list in 2019.
