Naming rights ‘a good revenue source’ says GAA

CLARE GAA has declined to reveal the value of the deal announced with Zimmer Biomet last Friday, which will see the county grounds referred to as Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg.

The new name is to stay in place for the next three years, with an option to extend the partnership for another two.

On Tuesday, County board chairman Kieran Keating declined to say how much the deal is worth publicly.

“The people that need to know will be told,” he said.
