A Kilkee woman has played a central role in the formation of the Toronto Camogie Club, which has enjoyed huge success in its first year.

Crusheen  2-12   Parteen  1-14 A goal from Dara O’Doherty in the final minute of normal time sealed victory for Crusheen over Parteen in the Intermediate Hurling Championship at Dr Daly Park in Tulla on Saturday and put them through to a semi-final meeting with Killanena this Sunday.

The second annual Miltown Malbay National school fundraising 5k fun run and walk was held last week and was very well supported, with 100 competitors going to the start.
