There were goals aplenty at last weekend’s match between Hermitage and Bridge Celtic A at the Fairgreen. On target for Hermitage were Eddie Killeen, Scott Hennessy from the penalty spot, Eoin Killeen and Gerry Dullaghan. Bridge Celtic’s goals came from Paul McEvoy and Rob Cassidy.

NEWMARKET recorded a comprehensive win over Lifford on Sunday but most of the scoring was done in the last quarter of an hour. Martin O’Neill had a hat trick for the winners, while they also had goals from Kieran Devitt, Michael Crosby and David O’Grady.

THE sides were level at half-time after Bunratty had goals from Ryan Kelly and Diarmuid Nash, while Colin Nelson and Shane Mason were on target for Tulla. The winners dominated the second period and got the final two goals from Mason and Keith Lenihan.
