Get the Glee treatment in Glór

GLÓR is offering teenagers a chance to experience their own piece of Glee this month.
From July 19 to 24, the Glee Performing Arts Summer School will be held for 12 to 17-year-olds at the Ennis theatre venue.
The popular television programme Glee is the latest in a recent revival of teen musical movies and television shows, including High School Musical, Hannah Montana, Fame and Camp Rock.
Glee is aimed at the teen market and rather than use original songs it uses hit song from various decades and gives them the “glee treatment”. Some examples are Leaving on a Jet Plane, Don’t Stop Believing, Halo and No Air.
The camp will teach a class of 20 teens some of the Glee songs and how to perform them. The camp ends with a performance at the end of the week.
