UL Hospitals’ Group vaccinators will be running six Walk-In Covid Vaccine Booster Clinics for 60-69-year-olds at our vaccination centres this weekend.
This is in addition to separate walk-in clinics for anyone who has not yet received their primary Dose 1 or Dose 2 vaccines.
People attending walk-in clinics at the Limerick centre in Scoil Carmel this weekend can avail of a free shuttle-bus service, which will run between the Southcourt Hotel, Raheen, and the centre, every half-hour between 8am and 7.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The Walk-in Covid Vaccine Booster clinics will be held at the Mid-West Covid Vaccination Centres in the former Outpatients’ Department at Ennis Hospital on Friday from 11 am to 6pm and on Saturday from 12noon to 6pm; in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh on Saturday from 2 to 7pm, and on Sunday from 8.30am to 7pm; and Scoil Carmel in Limerick on Saturday from 12 noon to 7pm and Sunday 8.30am to 7pm.
There is no appointment for these Walk-In Booster Vaccine Clinics, which will deliver a single booster dose of the Pfizer BioNTech Covid vaccine.
However, these clinics are for 60-69 year-olds only – no other age groups are permitted. Five months or 150 days should have elapsed since a person received their Dose 2 vaccine before attending for a booster.
Anyone attending these walk-in clinics should bring their vaccine record card, and also bring identification, either their birth certificate or a valid photo ID (such as driving licence, Public Services Card, travel pass, passport, Garda-issued National Age Card, or school or college ID). For queries, contact the local HSE-approved helpline number on 087-9681240 (9am-6pm, seven days a week).
Anyone who has had a Covid-19 positive result in the last 6 months should not attend for a booster vaccine.
People should note that they may experience delays when attending a walk-in clinic.

There will be four Walk-In Dose 1 and Dose 2 Vaccine Clinics this Saturday and Sunday. These are strictly for Dose 1 and Dose 2 vaccines, and should not be attended by anyone seeking a third vaccine dose.
These clinics will be held at the Mid-West Covid Vaccination Centres in Nenagh on Saturday from 2 to 7pm and Sunday 8.30am to 7pm; Ennis on Sunday from 12noon to 6pm and Limerick on Sunday from 8.30am to 7pm.
