Ennis RFC 14 Cobh 5 Ennis RFC booked their place in the Pan Munster semi-final after a strong display against Cobh Pirates. Conditions were perfect in Lees Road as Ennis and Cobh locked horns for the second time in this competition. Much like the last game there was very little to separate them with both teams ferocious in defence. After some strong defensive work, big carries from the Ennis pack saw the hosts pile on the pressure resulting in a penalty, which Odhrán Flynn duly dispatched. Luke Kennedy was sin binned after referee Michael Reidy adjudged him to have made a dangerous tackle. Ennis showed no sign of easing up regardless of being a player down and were next to score with another well struck penalty from Flynn. When Kennedy returned, Ennis brought some lovely variety to their play.
