Strong finish earns Ennis Town Rock a draw

Ennis Town Rock 2
Burren United 2

Burren United looked to be heading for victory in this Premier League tie at Lees Road on Sunday when they led 2-0 with the game in its final minutes.
They took the lead after 10 minutes when Evan Talty found the net from a free-kick and this goal separated the teams at the interval.
Fifteen minutes from time, the north Clare outfit doubled their advantage when Pat Nagle converted from the penalty spot after Stephen Moloney had been fouled.
With five minutes remaining, the home side were thrown a lifeline when Stephen Hickey goaled and they levelled almost on full-time through Rowan Eade. Shortly before Hickey scored their first, they were awarded a penalty but Daryl Eade’s effort was saved.
Teenager Maccon Byrne was outstanding for Burren United, as were Kilmurry-Ibrickane footballers Enda Coughlan, Evan Talty and Stephen Moloney, who had earlier played an O’Gorman Cup game with their club.
