Corofin Harps scored an important win as they continued their challenge for first division honours when they accounted for Connolly Celtic at Kilmaley on Sunday.

The game’s only goal came from Ian Hassett midway through the first half.  In a well-contested game, both sides had chances and the woodwork denied both on a few occasions.

Bridge United scored a good win in Kilrush at the West Clare club’s venue on Sunday.
Jamie O’Gorman, Gavin Downes and Kieran Quinlan scored for the winners, who were 2-0 in front at half-time.  They scored their third early in the second half before Kilrush pulled one back through Trevor Clancy. Kilrush then had a penalty claim turned down as they piled on the pressure.

Rhine Rovers kept up their strong challenge with this win over Avenue United B on Sunday.
Goals from Stephen Monaghan and Davy O’Brien put the winners into the lead.
In the second half of the game, Avenue pulled a goal back through Mick Shiel.
