OLYMPIC Harriers’ Jason Fahy recorded his first victory in Kilmurry McMahon at the 35th Annual St Mary’s 5km Road Races, incorporating the Bernie Memorial Race, which were organised by St Mary’s Athletic Club, on Sunday.The event attracted over 100 competitors and Fahy won the Bernie Meaney Shield in a time of 15mins.05secs. The runner-up spot went to Liam Markham, Ennis Track, (16mins.28secs) and he was followed by Martin Corcoran, Craughwell (16mins.36secs).Marian Burke, St Mary’s, captured the ladies’ 5km title in 19mins.37secs.
