Power show from medium Joe

JOE Power from Liverpool is one of the most popular psychic mediums to come on the scene recently and will perform for the third time at the University Concert Hall in Limerick on Tuesday night.

Joe explained that during his shows he is on stage communicating with someone who has “passed over” and hoping to reach a member of the audience. “The messages can vary from happy, carefree, fun messages to deep and critical messages. Emotions can run high at shows but generally I know that most people who get a communication at my shows feel uplifted and happy afterwards,” he said.
In the second half of his show, he said that he provides a fun but most likely embarrassing twist for members of the audience. “I ask members of the audience to volunteer. I use a set of power cards to read into the person’s thoughts and psyche. Firstly, the person must agree that they are open to anything coming out, because pretty embarrassing things can transpire,” Joe explained.
He acknowledged that there are many sceptics. “My take on this is someone doesn’t believe in it, then don’t go to a show, or don’t get involved in it but at the same time they shouldn’t ridicule people who do believe it and enjoy it.”
Joe added that being a psychic medium is a gift and a burden. “A lot of responsibility comes with it, because I’m dealing with people’s emotions.”
He said that he had this skill since he was a toddler. “I used to get communications from people who had passed over. I’d have crystal-clear sightings of people, some of them my relations who had died previously. One particular great aunt, Emily, kept visiting me but it was never scary. To me it’s just normal and I don’t know any different. When I’d tell my parents they used to ignore me in the hope that I was just imagining it,” he recalls.
Joe maintains that people have their deceased loved ones with them a lot of the time. In the course of his everyday activities, such as in the supermarket, he can see people with a spirit walking with them. “In most cases, I don’t think they’re even aware that their loved one is there with them , but honestly they are. Often I see elderly ladies or men with their deceased partner walking with them, which to me is very comforting. Of course I don’t tell them, because in general I think people would be upset or maybe scared by it,” he adds.
