O’Connell scores 80th minute winner

ST Pat’s had a narrow win over Treaty Celtic at home.

Having fallen behind, Stephen Moloney brought the winners level from the penalty spot to leave the score at 1-1 after 45 minutes. Moloney put his side ahead after the break but Treaty levelled before Mark O’Connell had the winner in the 80th minute.

HERMITAGE had their first win of the season against Tulla at the Fairgreen on Sunday. Their goal came though Mike Culligan early in the second half and while Tulla put on a lot of pressure in the closing stages, they couldn’t force an equaliser.

WEST Clare held a 1-0 lead at the break, having taken the lead through a Brian Harte penalty. In the second half, Jamie Russell was sent off but just before full-time, Jason Russell made the score 2-0.

HERMITAGE took the lead in their visit to Gort, after Chris O’Riordan converted a penalty. They still held the lead at the break but the home side took the points after two goals from Aidan O’Boyle, one from a header and the other a free kick from distance.
