New year, new jobs… thankfully

PERMAFROST Solutions, the worldwide leader in refrigeration enhancement technology, has this week announced plans to begin operations in Ireland. The company expects to invest €1 million into Ireland and aims to create 30 new jobs in County Clare in 2010.

Permafrost is an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient refrigerant additive that dramatically improves the heat transfer of cooling and air conditioning systems. Permafrost lowers energy costs, reduces carbon emissions and extends the lifespan of cooling equipment.
Shane Mansell, director of business development for Permafrost, said,  “For businesses, air conditioning and refrigeration costs represent the largest line item expense for the year; sometimes constituting 50 to 60% of total energy consumption. Permafrost will reduce this cost by 10 to 20%, resulting in significant energy savings. Permafrost’s products can be installed in all air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, no matter how big or small. With a one-time installation, Permafrost products are easy and simple to use for any building energy management plan.  One single treatment will last the life of the system, allowing for a return on investment in under one year.”
Permafrost technology has gained worldwide recognition for its performance in air conditioning and refrigeration units. It has been installed in over 5,000 locations worldwide since 2001.
