Glór gears up for An Audience with Mr Nice

MR Nice, aka Howard Marks, is bringing his lauded An Audience with Mr Nice, to Glór, Ennis next Tuesday.

Marks has become renowned as a writer, creator, contributor, storyteller, comedian, philosopher, teacher, stoner, singer, actor, DJ, social commentator and an all-round Nice guy.
“A softly spoken man, he has engaged audiences from Kilkenny to Kathmandu with his fascinating lifestyle and great anecdotal tales that has seen him driven by adrenaline and fuelled by emotion for a right and just society.
“Famous for his audacious cannabis trafficking and liberal opinions, Howard Marks has become somewhat of an icon in the world of literature and spoken word, following the worldwide success of his autobiography, Mr Nice and with the recent release of Bernard Rose’s film of the same title,” a spokeswoman for the Mr Nice tour said.
Starring as the main man is Marks’ good friend and fellow Welsh man, Rhys Ifan.
The show has been described in the national media as “without doubt one of the most liberal minds to tour these shores in recent years”.
Tickets for the Glór showing are available from 065 6843103 or from www.glor.ie.
