Killaloe Park Run is out of this world

Car Tourismo Banner

RUNNERS, JOGGERS, and walkers have completed a journey on a local Park Run that is the equivalent of travelling around the world twice and one-third of the globe over the last decade.
The organisers of the Clarisford Park Run in Killaloe have calculated that 2,700 regular participants have run, jogged, and walked 18,524 times totaling a distance of 92,620 kilometres.
This extraordinary feat was facilitated by 302 volunteers who amassed a total of 2,499 volunteer roles between them, helping in all types of weather, sunny, cold, wet and very wet to make sure this event continues to run without a major hitch.
