Exciting fare at primary schools finals

Cratloe GAA hall was the venue for the primary schools indoor camogie and hurling finals last Friday.
Flagmount-Dromindoora, Inch and Clonlara had won through to the camogie finals. The East Clare combination won both their matches, recording a 6-3 win over Inch and a 5-3 win over Clonlara. Inch and Clonlara played a 7-7 draw.

The members of the winning Flagmoung-Dromindoora team are Lorna McNamara, Therese O’Donnell, Clare McNamara, Linda O’Brien, Alannah Moloney, Emer O’Donnell, Katie Greene, Louise Keehan, Jennifer O’Meara and Katie Moloney.

The Inch team comprised Ciara Hurley, Chloe ­Coffey, Aoife Killeen, Clara Feeney, Leona Grace, Shona Harvey, Eilish Cahill, Síofra Ryan, Megan White, Zara Fitzpatrick, Doireann Corry, Chloe Chapman, Alannah Meaney, Áine Donegan and Emma Leyden.

Clonlara’s team included Dearbhla Downey, Aoibhínn O’Brien, Ellie Hannon, Sinéad Ryan, Becky Foley (captain), Joanne Egan Moya Byrnes, Aoife O’Brien, Jane Begley, Christina McKeon, Eva Larkin and Courtney Waters.
Hurling

Sixmilebridge won all their three games in the hurling finals, beating Clonlara 4-2, Kilnamona 5-1 and Ballyea 7-6. Kilnamona drew 5-5 with Ballyea who beat Clonlara 4-3. Kilnamona had a 5-3 win over Clonlara.

The members of the ­Sixmilebridge panel are Dylan Downes, Leon ­Kelly, James Egan, Colin Kelly, Evan Murphy, Luke O’Halloran, Luke ­Keogh, Tadhg Judge, Óran O’Reilly, Conor Morey, Conor Maxwell, Eoin Morby, Eli Murphy O’Sullivan, Will ­Fitzpatrick and Matthew Hurley.

Ballyea’s team included Diarmuid O’Neill, Brian Longe, Patrick Sweeney, Aaron Lynch, Stephen Casey (captain), Eoin Lynch, Kevin Clohessy, Darragh Coote, Enda Breen, David Meaney, Aodhan O’Meara, Darragh Coffey, Brian McNamara, Daniel Quinn, Evan Wall, Luke Killoughery, Niall Killeen, Gavin Guthrie, Ethan Troy and Gary Keane.
Kilnamona’s team members were Ronan Mescall, Dean McInerney, Eoghan Walsh, Conner Hegarty, Colin Rynne  (captain), Daniel Rynne, Mark Warren, Cónal Keane, Liam O’Brien, Dean Hegarty, Shane O’Keeffe, Matthew O’Looney.

Clonlara’s team included Colm O’Meara, Diarmuid De Barra, Andrew Fitzgerald, Jack Power, Jack Jones, Louis McCormick, Thomas Walsh, Jacob Beck, Séimí Gully, Jamie O’Connell, John Stritch, James McCormick, Niall Meade, Ethan Quin, Conor Monahan, Emmett Halley, Conor O’Brien and James McCormick.
