Bridge United B came out on top in this second division tie at Sixmilebridge on Sunday. Robert Conlon scored both of their goals, the first after 15 minutes and the second near the midpoint of the second half.

Inch Crusaders turned in a great performance to defeat Coole FC at Lees Road on Sunday. Inch took the lead on 10 minutes when Pádraig Talty finished well after a free kick from John Clohessy rebounded off the post. Inch went two up after 20 minutes when Conor Neylon scored from a free kick on the edge of the box. Coole got back in the game against the run of play, with an excellent finish from Kyle McCarthy from the edge of the box on 30 minutes. McCarthy did it again just before half-time with another excellent finish from just inside the box that again gave Andy O’Flynn in the Inch goal no chance and left it 2-2 at the break.
Inch made a great start to the second half when Clohessy scored on 46 minutes after getting on the end of a Neylon free kick from out on the left wing. Clohessy restored a two-goal advantage for Inch on 65 minutes with an excellent chip over the advancing Coole keeper, after being put through on goal by Mark Connellan. Coole kept the pressure on for the remainder of the game but could not reduce the deficit and Inch came close to adding to their tally with Sean Talty, James Rynne and Brian McDonnell all going close.

Moher Celtic continued their strong challenge for the second division title when they travelled to Cahercon and defeated an understrength Kildysart Celtic side on Sunday.
Goals from Michael Hohey and Brian Conway (free) helped the visitors take a 2-0 lead. Paudge McMahon pulled one back for the home side before Johnnie Daly restored the winners’ two-goal advantage when converting from the penalty spot to leave his team 3-1 in front at half-time.
Damian Hill scored for Kildysart early in the second half but the visitors had the final say when Hohey struck for his second.

Sporting Ennistymon accounted for Ruan United at Lahinch.
Sean McConigley scored both goals for the winners, the first coming after 10 minutes, which helped them to a 1-0 interval lead.
Half an hour into the second half, he struck again to double his side’s lead. Jonathon Clohessy pulled one back for the visitors but it wasn’t enough to prevent the home side from taking the points. Ennistymon had a third goal disallowed late in the game for an offside infringement.
