’Bridge make it to last eight


Sixmilebridge 0-15 Bodyke 1-6

 

SIXMILEBRIDGE progressed to the quarter-finals of the Intermediate Hurling Championship when they proved too strong for Bodyke last Friday in Broadford.
A powerful performance from Clare minor, Seadna Morey, playing at midfield, was the highlight of the tie.
Morey and all six forwards got in on the scoring as the winners held the upperhand.
Colm Madden scored the game’s only goal.
Bodyke are still in the hunt for a place in the knock-out stage of the championship. They play Ennistymon in their final game and the winners of that tie will go through to the last eight.
