UNITED Airlines have this afternoon confirmed that it will resume its Shannon-Newark service from next March.
In a statement the airline said, “Shannon – New York/Newark is available for sale and currently scheduled to resume as a seasonal daily service from 27 March 2022.”
Securing the resumption of the service will be an important boost to Shannon Airport, with aviation set to be especially competitive over the next two years or so.
Just outside New York City, Newark is a strategically important service, giving the Mid West region vital connectivity for tourism and business.
