There was a major shock in the third division when league leaders and hot favourites, West Clare FC, were defeated by Treaty Celtic, who have been struggling throughout the campaign.
John Clifford gave Treaty the lead but the West Clare men fought back and levelled following a goalmouth melee.
Goals from Tadhg Cronin and Sean Hayes put Treaty two clear and while West Clare pulled one back through substitute Shane Ryan, they were unable to draw level.

Two goals in each half helped Kilmaley united to a convincing win over Lifford B at Cassidy park on Sunday.
Gavin Cording and Adrian McDonagh scored in the opening period while McDonagh and John Sherlock found the target in the second half.

Brian Barry and Greg Keane scored for the home side while the visitor’s goals came from a Brendan McNamara penalty and a Chris Williamson free kick.
