Traditional music awards

THE TG4 2012 Traditional Music Awards will take place at University Concert Hall in Limerick next Saturday night.
A gala concert and award ceremony will feature a high quality line up of the most renowned musical acts to accompany the 2012 Gradam recipients across six award categories.
A night of celebration, music excellence and sheer vibrancy, Gradam Ceoil TG4 is a unique event for people who want to see a number of top artists performing on the one stage on the same night.
Some of the musicians involved are known throughout the world while it will also provide a platform to the emerging generation of vibrant and innovative newcomers.
The concert will be recorded for broadcast on TG4 on Easter Sunday night.
TG4’s Páidí Ó Lionáird and Aoife Ní Thuairisg will host and invite a few famous faces onstage to present the awards.
