The sorting of votes has begun

The process of sorting the votes, under the watchful eye of returning officer Pat Wallace, begun.  This will take at least two hours and will pave the way for the first count.   This may not be completed until 7pm. Sinn Féin’s Violet Anne Wynne, is out in front on the tally at this stage with 8,692 votes.
