By Seamus Hayes Clare 0-18 Galway 1-15 The strength of the Clare senior hurling panel was highlighted at cusack Park in round 5 of the Allianz hurling league where the home side secured a share of the spoils despite playing 40 minutes with fourteen players on a day when they started with a side which showed seven changes from the team which produced such an outstanding performance in hammering Waterford a week earlier. Before an attendance of 9,299, substitute Colin Ryan hit the levelling point from a 60m free in the second minute of injury time to tie the scores for the seventh and final time. The game produced plenty of talking points but in the end a draw was a fair outcome.
