Three more Covid-19 cases in Clare

With three further positive cases, Clare now has a total of 212 confirmed Covid-19 cases. However, Clare still remains one of the counties with the lowest incidences of the virus at 1.1%. The Health Protection Surveillance Centre announced this evening that a further 18 people have died from Covid-19. There have now been a total of 1,102 related deaths in Ireland from the virus. As of 11am today, the HPSC has been notified of 386 new confirmed cases of Covid-19, bringing the overall tally of confirmed cases to 19,648 confirmed cases. The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread. Covid-19 cases continue to rise in Clare

A further 28 people diagnosed with Covid-19 have died in Ireland while the number of positive cases in Clare is on the increase, up by 22 to a total of 187. The Health Protection Surveillance Centre said the additional 28 deaths brings to 794 the number of laboratory confirmed Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland. As of 1pm this Thursday afternoon, the HPSC has been notified of 936 new confirmed cases. There is now a total of 17,607 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the country. The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread. One new Covid-19 case in Clare

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has confirmed that a further 49 people diagnosed with Covid-19 in Ireland have died, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 769. One new case has been diagnosed in Clare. The total number of positive cases for the virus in the county now stands at 165. There were a total of 631 new confirmed cases of Covid-19. There is now a total of 16,671 confirmed cases of the virus in Ireland. Clare’s Covid-19 cases now at 164

While over 16,000 people nationwide have tested positive for Covid-19, over half of those diagnosed with the virus have recovered while 856 people have been discharged from hospital settings. In Clare, the number of positive cases continues to increase and there are now 164 people in the county who have tested positive, up four from the previous tally announced on Sunday night. Forty four more deaths have been recorded bringing the total number of positive cases in Ireland to 16, 040. Of that tally, 8,377 patients have fully recovered from the virus. An additional 856 people have been discharged from hospital settings. Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tony Holohan said of the recovery rate doesn’t surprised them. “It is giving us a picture which is broadly similar to what our expectation has been,” he noted. Clare cases for Covid-19 rises to 113

Seven more Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Clare, bringing the number of positive cases so far to 113. Thirty eight more people diagnosed with the virus have died bringing the total number of deaths in Ireland to 444. Of the latest deaths, 29 occurred in the east of the country, six in the west and three in the south. The median age of today’s reported deaths is 84 and 28 people were reported as having underlying health conditions. An additional 1,068 new cases were diagnosed as of 1pm today with 657 new confirmed cases reported by Irish laboratories and 411 by a laboratory in Germany. 41 more deaths from Covid-19

Forty one more people diagnosed with Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 406. Of the latest deaths, 36 were located in the east, four in the west and one in the south of the country The people included 16 females and 25 males and 31 were reported as having underlying health conditions. The median age of today’s reported deaths is 85. The number of Covid-19 positive cases in Clare increased yet again and an additional eight cases now brings the total confirmed cases in the county to 106. Nearly 100 Covid-19 cases in Clare

The number of positive Covid-19 cases in Clare has risen by a further ten and now stands at 98 cases in total. The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that 31 people diagnosed with Covid-19 in Ireland have died. Of these, 26 deaths were located in the east, three in the north west, one in the south and one in the west. The deaths included 18 females and 13 males and 25 people were reported as having underlying health conditions. Tthe median age of today’s reported deaths is 82. There have now been 365 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland and a summary of all 365 deaths provided by the HPSC shows that  215 (59%) of those who died were male, 150 (41%) were female, the median age of those who died is 82 and 247 of these cases were admitted to hospital with 37 admitted to ICU. Largest number of Covid-19 cases in single day

Five hundred additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed which represents the largest number of confirmed cases in a single day since the outbreak began. The total number of people with Coronavirus now stands at 6,574. The number of positive cases also increased in Clare, up by two to a total of 68. A further 28 people have died from the virus in the country, there have been a total of 263 casualties in the Republic from COVID-19 and a combined 345 on the island of Ireland. Of the 263 deaths, 72% (187 cases) died in a hospital environment. Thirty people died in intensive care units, accounting for 11% of cases and of the deaths 22 were in the east and two in the north west, sought and west.
