Sandra O’Grady and Mairéad Scanlon adding a goal and a point respectively.
Scariff kept up the same level of performance in the second half, adding four points to their tally. A St Joseph’s goal in the 25th minute breathed a new lease of life into the Joseph’s girls and they added two more points but ran out of time to narrow the deficit any further.

Éire Óg managed to add on another point from play just on the half-time whistle to leave the score 0-3 to 0-1. The second half continued in the same vein, with Éire Óg again starting the stronger, scoring two points from play. Claire McMahon scored the final point of the match.
