THE peaceful setting of Dromore Woods in Ruan is the place to be on Sunday, May 8 when a leisurely stroll will take people through the magic of the forest and lake landscape.
The stroll is in aid of the 250-mile cycle cancer care centre in Ballygriffey, Ruan. It is being organised by Dermot Ryan from Drumcliffe who will take part in the cycle around Clare later in the month.
People are asked to assemble at Dromore car park at 12.30pm for a 1pm start.
Participants are asked to give what they can on the day and to bring some food and drinks as there will be stops along the way to take in the beauty of Dromore Woods. For more information, contact Dermot on 086 0810291.
