Special performance to mark Embrace success

TO mark the success of the Embrace exhibition, there will be a special performance from a range of participants working in arts and health around County Clare.
The performance, presented by Clare Arts and Health, will take place on Thursday, June 2 at 7.30pm in Glór.
All proceeds from ticket sales for this community event will go towards supporting future artistic projects. Tickets are available from Glór box office and directly from Clare Arts and Health members.
The event is aimed at celebrating local creativity and diversity through an array of artistic mediums.
“Music and community performance will come together to provide an evening of real imagination and inspiration. If you want to support the arts in County Clare, we invite you to attend this performance to learn how artists are sharing their skills, working with local health groups to realise their creative goals,” said a spokesman for Clare arts and health.
“Many highly rewarding and beneficial workshops, which are vital to local community groups, risk being cut because of a lack of resources. If we wish to see these arts projects continue in our hospitals, clinics, schools and health centres, we must co-operate and raise money to support artistic ventures which contribute so much to our community.”
