Goals from Tommy Morey (2) and David O’Connor helped the winners to lead at half-time on a 3-8 to 0-9 scoreline.
Any hopes of a Broadford fight-back were killed in the third quarter when the winners were well on top adding goals from Caimin and Tommy Morey and Niall Gilligan (2) on their way to a comfortable win.

TWO goals from George Waterstone helped Whitegate to this convincing win over a fancied Tulla side at Dr Daly Park on Monday evening.
The winners laid the foundations for this win in the first half and when the half-time whistle sounded, they were 11 points to the good.
Waterstone finished as their top scorer with 2-5 to his credit while Ian Fahy chipped in with 0-6.
Tulla’s chances weren’t helped by the absence of Eanna Torpey, who has emigrated and the injured Brian Lynch, Andrew Quinn and David McInerney. Waterstone, Brendan Buglar and Ian Fahy were prominent for the winners in this tie.

Wolfe Tones  3-10
INAGH-Kilnamona kept up their challenge for a place in the semi-final of the Clare Champion Cup when they defeated Wolfe Tones at Inagh on Monday evening but they were made fight all the way by bottom-of-the-table Wolfe Tones.
A contribution of 0-9 from Arthur, five from frees, helped the home side to this win on an evening when Dermot Gannon was their goal scorer.
The winners held a one-point advantage at half-time when the score was 0-8 to 1-4. Goalscorers for Wolfe Tones who had 14 wides on the night, were Mark Regan, Paul Walsh and Gareth McPhillips.
