DUE to popular demand, Spancilhill Drama Group will present another instalment of the hilarious play Here Lays Paddy Broderick on Saturday January 26 at Quin Hall with curtains at 8pm.
Here Lays Paddy Broderick was written by Clooney playwright Anita O’Loughlin. It tells the story of a family eager to make a few bob by any means possible, in this case they fake their uncle’s death and hilarity ensues at his wake.
Anita, who is responsible for writing over 30 comedic plays told The Clare Champion the play offers up plenty of twists and turns and the audience must wait and see if there’s any money to be made out of all this funeral business.
There are 10 in the cast of Here Lays Paddy Broderick and local people in Quin have also a big input in the play as many drop in on stage to attend and sympathise at Paddy’s wake.
Tickets are available in advance from cast members and will also be available on the door on the night.
