East Clare Harriers rode out from Clonusker in Scariff on Saturday for their final meet of the year with 27 riders traversing the countryside.
The riders and 15 couple hounds left from Clonusker church at 1pm on Saturday, with Shane Jones leading the charge as huntsman. Among those riding out on the day was Paul Kilkenny, who was the whipper-in, and joint masters Declan Durack and Pat Jones, and honorary master Tony Marsh. Following the hunt, the riders were treated to their traditional cuppa outside Clonusker Church before retiring to Rodgers Bar in Scariff.
This is the last meet for the Harriers until the hunter trials on April 24.
