Hermitage A 0

DESPITE scoring a one-goal win over fellow Ennis side Hermitage A, a result which saw them remain unbeaten, Ennis Town Rock did not qualify for the final of the Premier League Cup.

That place has gone to Avenue United A, who have a superior goal difference. After Avenue’s mid-week win over Burren United, Ennis Town Rock needed to score a big win over Hermitage to get ahead of their Ennis rivals.
Sunday’s game was a close affair with the only goal coming in the closing minutes when Francis Daniels scored.
The winners of the competition will receive 20 tickets from the FAI for a home international game at the Aviva, while they will be taken to the game by PK Travel. In addition, they will receive a cup and a set of medals.
