Newmarket Celtic B made the journey to Ruan on Sunday for this second division game and they returned with the points following a hard earned 3-2 win.
Newmarket led at half time thanks to a goal from Danny Conway. Ruan got a great start to the second half when Gavin Dinan scored and soon after this they went in front through Jonathon Clohessy. Inside the last fifteen minutes Newmarket hit back, helped by some defensive errors on the part of the home side, and Martin Mulqueen struck twice to ensure that the visitors went away with the points.
