Newmarket Celtic A5 Hermitage 1

PREMIER League leaders Newmarket Celtic continued their winning ways with a comfortable victory over Hermitage A at McDonogh Park on Sunday.
The visitors, who were short a number of first-team regulars, took the lead when Adrian Walsh was on target after five minutes but by half-time, the winners were 2-1 in front.
Matters got worse for Hermitage in the second second half when they were forced to play the final quarter with 10 men. They had their quota of substitutes used when Donal Hartnett suffered an injury, which caused him to leave the action.
The winner’s goals came from Michael Crosby who scored a hat-trick, Mark Donlon and Seamus Lawlor.

ROCK led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a goal from Dean Gardiner in what was a very evenly contested game. Tadhg Keogh equalised with 25 minutes left but Rock hit for a late winner through Marty McLoughlin.

BRIDGE United A took the lead after five minutes in this Premier League tie when Adrian White scored and this goal separated the teams at half-time.
Rineanna equalised 10 minutes into the second half through John Okoru and a share of the spoils looked likely as the game headed into injury time but then Bridge United struck for the winner through Derek Fahy.

AVENUE took the lead through Barry Nugent after a Mikey Mahoney cross three minutes into the game. They doubled their advantage from a Dave McCarthy free shortly before half-time.
Tulla replied with a goal three minutes later from a free kick by Gearóid O’Doherty.
Tulla had Trevor Corbett sent off in the first five minutes of the second half and this was a blow to their chances of getting back on terms.
Ten minutes from the end, Avenue had a chance to stretch their lead when they were awarded a penalty but Gary Flynn’s effort went over the bar.

Lifford scored in the first half through Gary McNaboe who headed to the net.
Bridge Celtic equalised through Ger O’Connell with 15 minutes to go after a great effort from the same player had hit the cross bar in the first half.
