Newmarket Celtic B made the short journey to Bunratty on Sunday and recorded a big win over their neighbours in Division 1.
At the end of a tightly contested first half, the winners led through a Kieran Crosby goal, which came after a Martin Mulqueen cross.
In the second half, they had goals from Martin Mulqueen (2) Martin O’Neill, Kevin Feehily and Cathal Hayes from a penalty. The winners also had two goals disallowed.

Moher Celtic captured the honours in this North Clare derby tie on Sunday when they accounted for Corofin Harps.
Corofin created chances in the first half but failed to convert and they found themselves a goal down at half-time after Johnnie Daly had scored following a Paul Cagney delivery.
Willie Murphy scored the second after Declan Fawl provided the pass and the third came from Murphy from a free-kick.
Following this result, Moher have drawn level at the top of the table with Corofin Harps.

Bridge Celtic took the lead in the opening minutes through Conor Hynes.
Olympic equalised shortly before half-time through Gary Leahy and then took the lead when Leahy had a second.
Leahy made it a hat-trick early in the second half before Bridge Celtic’s Conor Hynes struck for a second for the South East Clare outfit.
Leahy then hit a fourth before Ritchie Hanley found the net and they completed the scoring through Ray Quigley.
