Paul Murphy scored the game’s only goal as Kilkishen Celtic defeated Manus Celtic on Sunday in the second division league. The all important goal came midway through the opening half.

Sporting Ennistymon B overcame the league leaders in this tie played in a gale force wind at Lisdoonvarna.
In the end it was the fitness of a youthful North Clare side which proved decisive.

League leaders Treaty had the aid of the wind in the opening half but the only score came from the penalty spot when David Nolan converted midway through and this goal separated the teams at the interval.

With the wind to their backs, the home side took control after the break and they drew level when Micheál Duffy found the net. James McConigley doubled their lead before mciaran Monaghan had their third from the penalty spot.
