Surfing is the fastest-growing sport in Ireland and County Clare is home to some of the best surf in the world and also the home to some of the top professional surfers in the world. Twenty of the top pro surfers from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and Brittany will spend five days in Clare and will compete in the first ever Cold Pro Pan Celtic invitational .They will also travel to some of the numerous surf spots in the county with a team of world-renowned photographers who will document their time in Clare and the photos will appear in surf publications all over the world. This will highlight the standard of surf and the rugged beauty of our coast line and, hopefully, increase surf tourism in Clare from an international perspective,” Martony Vaughan added.
