Minor victory for Inagh-Kilnamona

Inagh-Kilnamona 2-10   Feakle/Broadford 0-7

THE opening 10 minutes of the Minor A contest was close, with neither side yielding to the opposition. Inagh-Kilnamona opened the scoring with a free and had 1-5 on the scoreboard before Feakle/Broadford registered their first score, when Regan Conway converted a free.
The East Clare amalgamation added two more points from Conway and Áine Ryan before the break to leave the score 1-6 to 0-3 in Inagh-Kilnamona’s favour.

Feakle/Broadford started the second half the stronger with two quick points from Regan Conway and Aoife Dillon. Inagh-Kilnamona began to exert their dominance on the game and Feakle/Broadford found it increasingly difficult to take any scoring opportunities.

Feakle/Broadford did manage to claw back two points from Jodi and Lauren Guilfoyle but were unable to prevent Inagh-Kilnamona running out winners.
