Great reception for poll topper

There were joyous scenes as poll topper Pat Breen arrived at the count centre a short time ago.

He said that heading the poll was a massive triumph. “It was an emotional day for me. When I heard the result of the tally some time earlier this afternoon the tears came to my eyes. To me it’s a lifetime achievement to be at the top.”
