Lynch in dominant form for Ruan

Ruan 2-16   Crusheen 1-10
Ruan won their second game in Division 2 as Crusheen in their first year at this level with their second side have yet to get off the mark despite a spirited attempt in this Crusheen hosted tie on Sunday afternoon.
Aidan Lynch dominated at full-forward in the first half, scoring six points and setting up the first-half goal for Patrick Keegan. Crusheen fought hard to get back and were six points in arrears at the interval, 1-9 to 0-6. Shaun Dillon (3), Colin Vaughan and Alan Touhy (2) were the first-half scorers for the home side.
Brendan Lyons opened the second-half scoring, only for three scores in a row from Vaughan (2) and Touhy to reduce the Ruan lead to five, with Crusheen pressing hard.
The game was decided when Brendan Lyons struck for the second Ruan goal and despite a stunning goal from John Weir, three late points from Lynch and veteran John Punch, sealed the win for Ruan.

Parteen 3-8   Scariff 1-13

In a game that produced almost 15 minutes of injury time, Parteen recorded a one-point win over Scariff on Sunday.
Scariff led by five points at the end of normal time but the home side hit 1-3 in the added time to seal their second win of the campaign.
An Austin Madden goal helped Scariff to lead as the end of the first quarter approached but a Joe O’Connor goal boosted Parteen, who trailed by just two points, 1-5 to 1-7 at the break.
Two second-half goals from Ronan Conlon proved vital for Parteen on a day when Scariff finished with 14 men after Conor McNamara was sent off.

Corofin 4-13   Ogonnelloe 2-12
Corofin proved too strong for Ogonnelloe at Corofin on Sunday.
It was the North Clare side’s first outing of the campaign having had a bye in the opening round, and they finished strongly with goals from Neil Killeen and Kevin Heagney to seal victory.
Ogonnelloe led at the break on a score of 1-10 to 2-4 with the visitors goal coming from Michael Noel Burler while Stephen Heagney and Declan Stack were the goal scorers for the winners.
