Liscannor brothers heading for Clonmel

The Oaks Trial Stake win by the Liscannor-owned Kinielty Jazz at the Tubbercurry meeting last weekend  boosted the number of Clare-owned qualifiers for the national meeting in Clonmel on February 2-4.

In the all-Clare final, Kinielty Jazz (Trajectory-Scartview Laura) owned and trained by Liscannor brothers Declan and Terry McDonagh, beat the fawn Dooras Magic (Mafi-Magic-Drimeen Delight), owned by Ennis-Clarecastle Coursing Club stalwart, Gerry Moloney, Doora, Ennis.

Kinielty Jazz had two outings earlier this season. She came in as a reserve and was beaten early on at Ennis-Clarecastle and reached the quarter-finals in Cooraclare when beaten by the eventual runner-up, Tromora Proof.
Dooras Magic was also in action at Ennis-Clarecastle, dividing the final of the Workers Members Stake with the Terry Moloney (Clarecastle) owned Harrys Dilemma.
