Kilmaley 2-18   Tubber 1-14

KILMALEY captured the Junior A Hurling League title at Ruan on Saturday when they accounted for Tubber.
A goal in each half from Killian McNamara proved decisive as the winners finished strongly to pull away from their opponents.

Kilmaley, who compete in the Junior A Championship, had to step up a few gears in the closing stages to achieve this victory against an outfit that is competing for the Junior B Championship title.
Just a point separated the teams at the halfway stage with Kilmaley leading but Tubber had fought back to level by the three-quarter stage.
A second goal from McNamara gave them the edge and they went on to seal a merited win.
