League Cup race begins

The race for the second and Third Division League Cup titles will begin this Sunday.
McDonagh Park in Newmarket will host the meeting of Newmarket Celtic B and Manus Celtic B in Group B on Sunday morning at 11am.
In Group A at the same time, Shannon Olympic B and Treaty Celtic will meet at Shannon, while Kilkishen Celtic and Tulla United B will clash at Kilkishen.
The race for the Third Division title will also begin on Sunday with West Clare United at home in Kilrush to Kilmaley Fern Celtic at 11am and Hermitage C at home to Lifford B at the Fairgreen at the same time.
On Wednesday evening, the Premier Division Cup gets underway with games in both the A and B groups.
In Group A, Lees Road will be the venue for the meeting of Avenue United and Burren Utd, while Rineanna Rovers will have home advantage against Ennis Town Rock and both games will kick off at 6.30pm.
On the same evening, in group B,Tulla United will entertain Mountshannon Celtic while Newmarket Celtic A will have home advantage against Lifford A.
The First Division League Cup will also commence on Wednesday and in Group A, Connolly Celtic will have Rhine Rovers as visitors to Kilmaley school, while the Fairgreen will host the meeting of Manus Celtic A and Turnpike Rovers
In Group B, Bridge Celtic will take on Bridge Utd A at Bridgetown while Bunratty-Cratloe FC will have Avenue United B as visitors to Woulfe Park in Bunratty.
In group A of the second division, Moher Celtic will entertain Sporting Ennistymon at Lahinch on Wednesday evening with Hermitage B having Coole FC as visitors to the Fairgreen in Ennis, while Inch Crusaders will have Kildysart Celtic as visitors to Lees Road in group B.

Hugh Kelly Cup final

Avenue United and Bridge United will contest the final of the inaugural Hugh Kelly Memorial Tournament on this Saturday in Sixmilebridge when the kick off will be at 6.30pm.

Schoolboys

U-13 and U-15 league action will dominate on the schoolboys league front this Saturday.
On Monday evening, there will be action in the girls U-12 Cup with Lifford entertaining Bridge United in a quarter-final tie at 6.45pm. There will also be games in the U-12 and U-14 leagues
On Tuesday, there will be U-16 league action while on Thursday next it will be the turn of the U-11 and U-14 teams to continue their league programmes.
