Kilmurry are Féile champions

Kilmurry-Ibrickane emerged last weekend as the Clare Féile Peil na mBan representatives for 2012.
The national Féile will be hosted by Laois and Carlow on the weekend of June 22 to 24. Captained by Aoibhe King, Kilmurry-Ibrickane ended nine-in-a-row champions, Banner Ladies’ run in the semi-final with a 7-2 to 2-5 win. A Féile final meeting with Kilmihil was all one-way traffic for the seasiders, who dominated throughout. They scored 18 goals in a facile win and now Kilmurry-Ibrickane will take to the national stage in late June, when they play Mayo champions, Westport, Kildare champions, Sarsfields and local team, St Conleth’s in Group B of Division 1.
